EVELYN DUPUY

Europe 2026

Evelyn Dupuy is a Cuban singer-songwriter, originally from Santiago de Cuba and based in Amsterdam since 2014. Her career is marked by significant milestones, including an eight-year tenure as the lead vocalist for Rolf Sanchez’s band, where she graced some of the most prestigious stages across the Netherlands. Her artistic journey was further amplified in 2019 through her participation in The Voice of Holland, a pivotal experience that honed her craft and expanded her artistic vision.

Her relocation to the Netherlands sparked a profound personal and introspective journey. In this new environment, she discovered the freedom to fully embrace her Afro-Caribbean heritage—an aspect of her identity that was often suppressed in Cuba by social expectations and Eurocentric beauty standards. It was here that she learned to celebrate her natural hair, her skin, and the richness of her culture. This powerful journey of self-acceptance and reconciliation now forms the emotional core of her music.

The fusion of Afro-Cuban Latin jazz with modern electronic elements in her recent work, “En el Limbo,” is the sound of her story—an artistic exploration of identity, belonging, and self-love. Further showcasing her vocal prowess, Evelyn recently embodied the voice and spirit of the legendary Celia Cruz in the acclaimed production “Tribute To Celia,” presented by La Epoca.

Evelyn Dupuy presents her immense talent in three distinct live formats: the powerful “Tributo a Celia” with an 11-piece band, the intimate “The Cuban Songbook” with an acoustic quartet, and her signature “Afro Cuban Electro & Jazz” format, featuring eight musicians performing her original repertoire.
